Sierro 2000 can power common plug-in devices such as refrigerators, freezers, televisions, monitors, laptops, routers, lamps, chargers, and pet care equipment when the combined running and startup load stays within its 1000W rated output.
Can Sierro 2000 power a refrigerator?
Yes, when the refrigerator's running and startup wattage are within the 1000W rated output. Compressor startup requirements vary, so check the appliance label or manufacturer specifications before unattended use.
Does it require an electrician?
No. Sierro 2000 is designed for selected plug-in devices and connects to a properly grounded household outlet. It is not a whole-home electrical system.
Does UPS passthrough use the battery during normal AC operation?
No. When utility power is available, Sierro powers connected devices through AC passthrough while keeping the battery ready. The battery takes over only when input power drops, so normal standby use does not continuously cycle the battery.
Can it charge from solar?
Yes. Sierro 2000 supports compatible solar charging up to 550W within a 12–55V input range. Solar performance varies with panel output, weather, and setup conditions.
Can it power my whole house?
No. Sierro 2000 is designed to keep selected essential devices running, not to replace a permanently installed whole-home backup system.
